Brandith Irwin, M.D., practices medical and cosmetic dermatology at her own clinic, the Madison Skin and Laser Center, in Seattle and holds board certification in both internal medicine and dermatology. Seattle magazine recently named her one of the city's best dermatologists, based on a poll of 2,500 area doctors. Brandith graduated with honors from the University of Washington Medical School in 1984 and did residencies in both internal medicine and dermatology there. She has been a full-time and clinical faculty member of the University.

Mark McPherson, Ph.D. is a prize-winning poet and a writer. He holds both a Ph.D. and a J.D. from Harvard University.
